Cookie Policy
Last updated: · Applies to QuickDeliver Logistics Pvt. Ltd.
This Cookie Policy explains what QuickDeliver Logistics Pvt. Ltd.(“QuickDeliver”) stores in your browser and device when you visit our website or use our applications. We keep this deliberately minimal: we do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or social-media pixels.
This Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. Terms like “cookies” and “browser storage” refer to any technology that stores information on your device to remember settings or activity.
1. What we store and why
| Name / key | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Staff sign-in token | Browser storage (local) | Keeps dispatch, CRM, and rider portal users signed in between visits | Until you log out |
| Staff profile | Browser storage (local) | Displays your name and role in staff portals without re-fetching on every page | Until you log out |
| Customer phone | Browser storage (local) | Remembers your phone number so your orders and notifications load when you return | Until you clear site data |
| Session identifier | Browser storage (session) | Anonymous ID for first-party usage analytics (pages viewed, quotes requested) | Until you close the browser tab |
We do not set traditional HTTP cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. The items above are stored using your browser's built-in storage APIs, which function similarly to cookies for the purposes described.
2. Strictly necessary storage
Staff sign-in tokens and customer phone storage are strictly necessary to provide the service you request. Without them, you would need to log in on every page load and re-enter your phone number each visit. These cannot be disabled while using authenticated features.
3. Analytics storage
We record product usage events — such as pages viewed, quote widgets used, and bookings started — linked to an anonymous session identifier. This helps us understand which features are useful and where users encounter problems.
- Analytics data is sent only to QuickDeliver's own systems — not to advertising networks.
- Session identifiers are not linked to shipment AWB numbers or personal identity long-term.
- Events are aggregated for reporting; individual session trails are deleted after 30 days.
- You can clear the session identifier by closing your browser tab or clearing site data.
4. What we do not use
- Third-party advertising cookies (Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, etc.)
- Cross-site tracking or behavioural profiling networks
- Social media embed trackers
- Fingerprinting techniques to identify you across websites
5. Third-party content loaded on our pages
Some pages load resources from external providers when you use specific features:
- Map tiles — tracking pages display maps from OpenStreetMap. Loading map tiles sends your IP address and browser information to the tile server as part of a normal web request.
- Web fonts — we load typography from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address when fonts are fetched. No advertising cookies are set through our pages.
We do not control these providers' practices. Review their privacy policies if you have concerns. Neither provider sets advertising cookies through our integration.
6. Managing and clearing storage
You can control browser storage at any time:
- Log out — removes staff sign-in tokens immediately from your device.
- Clear site data — in your browser: Settings → Privacy → Site data → search for QuickDeliver → Clear. This removes all stored tokens and preferences.
- Private / incognito mode — session storage is cleared when you close the window; local storage may still persist until cleared.
- Block storage entirely — may prevent login, order history, and personalised features from working. Public package tracking by AWB number will still work.
7. Mobile applications
Our rider and customer experiences accessed through the mobile web app use the same browser storage mechanisms described above. Native app versions, if released, will publish a separate notice for any device-level storage used.
8. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. We do not currently respond to DNT signals because there is no industry standard for compliance. We already limit tracking to first-party analytics only.
9. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly store data from children through cookies or browser storage.
10. Changes to this Policy
If we introduce new storage technologies or change what we store, we will update this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
11. Questions and contact
For cookie, storage, or privacy questions, contact our Grievance Officer at support@quickdeliver.in or +91-99999-99001. See also our Privacy Policy for your rights under the DPDP Act.
